There are no real services to sell. They just want you to get excited, recruit all you friends, and steal more money from everyone you know and love. This bullshit is such a scam. A "friend" of mine convinced of going to one of these "presentations". When I tried to ask him what I was heading into, all he would say is "These people are brilliant and know how to make money" and that the Senior V.P or whatever frickin' position just bought a private jet blah blah blah...It almost sounded too good to be true, and that was before I even got there!So we arrive at the "meeting" which was held at night in an area thats not known to be the safest of areas. I walk into some random hotel lobby that was fairly dark and then into a large room that was brightly lit, and what do I see? F***ing Donald Trump and his apprentices on an overhead projector with music playing in the background. Man they really know how to set the atmosphere! I see some dudes walking around in fancy suits, and the suse who brought me there even put on a suit and was telling me how he has seen CFL and NHL at these meetings before. I'll admit I am a hockey fan, and that all of this got me a little excited to see this presentation, although subconsciously it all still seemed too good to be true.

After approx. 15 minutes the presentation got underway. The speaker's name was Laura I believe. She played this video about ACN with Donald Trump talking about the "investment: oppurtunities with ACN and all of this blah blah crap. Next Laura "randomly" invited some people, or should I say *cough* obvious plants to come and tell us these stories of how much they are supposedly making with acn. I couldn't even understand half of what these jokers were saying. Then Laura showed us some overheads of how much you can make with acn as you "progress up the ladder" and some of these amounts were just ridiculous. And on residual income? What got me the most was at the end when Laura (I was fed up with this bitch by now) said the sign up fee was $500, and there were fees to attend other conferences and "millionaire" meetings....yeah right, millionaire? Give me a break. I was always told that something or someone that charges you to "train" you is very shady and most likely a scam.

Luckily my instincts were with me this whole time and this damn acn was sounding more and more like bullshit as the presentation went on. When the meeting was finally over and I was leaving I heard some of the crowd saying stuff like "I can't wait to start" and "I'm so excited" as they exited the hotel. Well thats the mood these presentations put you in! I'm guessing they are now acn clones who have or will eventually will see that they've been conned.As for my friend who took me there, I haven't even spoke with him since then. I always get the urge to find him and ask him how he is doing with this "brilliant idea", as he put it.I am glad my instincts led me to knowing this is alkl too good to be true. I finally came on here and heard what others had to say to confirm that this is indeed a scam, or more politely, a pyramid scheme. Thanks Truth Speaker and all those who are exposing these fuckers. And to finish up, F you Laura, F you all of you F-ing plants, F you all of you loser reps, and F you Donald Trump. Seriously, only a fucking idiot would fall for this scam, be aware people!

I just talked to a friend who just said F-you to ACN a few weeks ago. He said your post about making 10% with no recruiting is total bullshit. I want everyone who comes to this site to watch a news report put out by FOX. Google "Fox news investigates the ACN scam". There are some good facts in this report for all to see. If anyone watches this report and still does not believe that ACN is a scam must be a total complete dumbass!

Bullshit. ACN is a pyramid scheme. Plain and simple. Any time you use words like IBO, customer aquistion, residual commissions, and sponsors, you are talking about a pyramid. I 'aquire' customers on almost a daily business but I sure don't call my partners and tell them we aquired a new customer today. And I sure as hell don't have any sponsors. Brotherofdeath this guy is trying to fool you with his kindness. He's a hard guy to dislike but unfortunately he's the typical ACN plant who is very good at making this scam sound legitimate. And I'm not buying the 10% either. We have all read other posts that have claimed the commissions are sometimes a half a percentage point. And quit preaching the deregulation of energy!!! The ACN clones in my town were all bragging about the coming of the deregulation of energy in our state almost a year after it had already happened. Poor stupid ACN clones just can't seem to keep their lies in order.

Also wanted to say that my friend that made $11000 dollars last year spent all of it and more going on trips to the conventions in California, North Carolina and Vegas. Also he went to all the Saturday meetings and all the other shit. In his excitement, he also actually paid the $500 for some of his friends to sign up who didn't have (or rather want) to sign up. Ill bet you can guess what happened next... They didn't recruit and so they are not friends anymore!

Well Outlier you sound like a decent human being. I have to disagree with your statement that this is not a scam or a pyramid scheme. ACN by definition is totally a pyramid scheme. (Read the top of this site for more info). The town I live in has about 300000 people and ACN has been plaguing this place for about 3 years. During this time, I have seen a lot of this shitshow going on. People don't like being lied to, manipulated and screwed out of $500! And that is what I have seen with my own eyes! It is the talk of the town! Everyone makes fun of these brainwashed ACN clones and avoids them like the plague!

I am truly happy for you that you have other avenues of income other than ACN. Please do the right thing and stay with it! My ACN clone friends all tried to recruit me because they said I have "credibility". (Meaning that I own my home, have a beautiful family and make a good living with my own business that I built from the ground up. They also admitted to me that ACN spends millions of dollars on phycology. The reason? Simple! Use lies, deceit, and phycology (ACN Jedi mind tricks)to suck $499 out of every human being that you possibly can! If you are not a part of this, more power to you. I really have a hard time believing you that you make a 10% commission however on the services that you acquire. Will you please give me some details? Also wanted to say that about 1/3 of the people I know who are involved in this scam are business owners and they have all failed and reverted back to their original businesses. These are also the people who refuse to admit that this is a scam! Because of the fact that they are business owners and have in fact operated successful businesses makes them unable to admit the obvious! They use excuses like "O I have just put it on the back burner for now but it will always be there for me!" The truth is that the economy is getting better here and they are going back to what they know. My one friend made 11000 dollars last year with ACN! When he told me that I told him we should say a prayer and bless all the poor souls who he scammed out of $500. He admitted to me that all of the income came from recruiting bonuses. This is the first time ever I have heard of a 10% commission coming from any service without recruiting.

Yes 10% but it also depends on the type of service, the billable amounts differ, energy being the most lucrative. Energy is launching this year in MI, IN, OH, IL, NJ and more to come.

The company rebalanced the compensation plan so that the people who acquire the most customers, get the most compensation. Therefore, a shift from recruiting revenue to customer acquisition revenue.

In my opinion the company did this because a lot of other network marketing companies are getting sued lately. It is an absolutely awesome change though because IBOs can earn money without recruiting.

There are stories of new IBOs knowing the right people who have acquired energy contracts of entire hospitals with million dollar gas bills. Pretty awesome opportunity for just $499.

So you are telling me that all a guy has to do is pay $499 and become an ACN rep, go out and acquire 50 "customer points" and from then on you will make a full 10% commission on the total billing volume of every service you acquire? I have a real hard time believing that however, I will check with some of my ACN clone friends to see if it is true. (even though most all of them have given up on this scam).

Unfortunately, over the decades, the majority of americans have lost the entrepreneural spirit and are ok just working for someone else. Nowadays, people who step out of their jobs to start companies are the "different" ones. You as a business owner appreciate this for sure.

The character traits required to be successful in this business are not typically found in your average person with the employee mindset. For example, as an ACN IBO (Independent Business Owner), I like to acquire restaurants as my gas customers. When I find a restaurant I like, i frequent it more often, introduce myself to the owner and make sure I speak with them every time i'm there. In a few months time, i mention that i am an energy broker and ask for their business. Which i always get because business owners are open to any savings they can get. ACN for me is just another income stream. 10% of restaurant gas bills is sweet. I also do healthcare IT consulting and have a software application that I market.

Your typical average "employee mindset" person would never even attempt this, being too shy, or something like that. They think ACN is just too hard then quit.

In my team, the most successful people at acquiring customers are guess what, "business owners". Its so natural because that's how our brains are already tuned. Our other team members that have the handicap of an "employee mindset" need to gather the courage to step out their zone, learn to be an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, majority of people find it easier to just quit. Another statistic.

Brotherofdeath, thats why ACN is not a pyramid scheme. Recruiting is one may to make the money but not the only way.

To qualify for 10% of the billing volume of their own customers, an IBO only needs to accumulate 50 customer points (20-30 of various services). The compensation plan changed April 2011 making it easier to make money without recruiting.

eg. Those business partners that acquired those 40-50 customers make the most percentage commission residually. As a sponsor we get only a small fraction of that volume.

I do not believe that anyone in this buisness can make a 10% residual off of any billing amount unless they have done a shitload of recruiting. In order to do that they would have to be a RVP or some high up shit like that. If that really was the case it wouldn't be a pyramid scheme. There are two sides to every story. I agree that many people fail in the business, in my opinion just don't really take advantage of the leverage that ACN offers for a mere $499. The simple truth is that success in any endeavor depends on the actual effort that you put in.

The addition of energy services in 2011 and 2012 is a huge opportunity. We have some new business partners that in just a few months have acquired 40-50 residential and commercial gas and electricity accounts that pays them 10% of the billing amount. With time and effort, you can truly make money with this opportunity even if you don't recruit a single person.

Sales like any business is all about relationships. ACN truly does provide a platform for success, although it does require people to grow out of their comfort zone.

There's a reason why individuals with good people skills make the most money, this business is not any different.

I'm sorry to hear this sad story. $10 every Saturday to hear a bunch of liars tell everyone how much money they are supposedly making. There is no actual training going on at these meetings contrary to what Chad claims. Heck, Chad has his 'TEAM' trained in 24 to 48 hours after they fork over the $499. Chad is wise folks. He knows they have 10 days to get their money back when they have realized they have been scammed. So Chad gets them trained real fast and overwhelms them with meetings, and phone calls, etc, etc..... I think Dovalles will verify these supposed training sessions are just a bunch of blow hards blowing smoke up everyone's ass. The whole ACN culture is based on lying and deceiving people. Did you ever wonder why you were forced to pay for the 'millionaire's club' meetings and guests got in for free? ACN puts their hand in your pocket and refuses to take it out until they have everything they can get from you. And if you refuse to recruit they will toss you aside like a piece of trash because they have already got your money. Again, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. Hopefully alot of apologizing to the people you recruited will make things better for you.

Yes it is a huge scam, I joined it being a stupid idiot and got brain washed, I even payed to attend those stupid meetings they had on saturdays and it was $10 every meeting and they said the exact same crap every saturday. I even got brain washed to attend a convention and spend $120 to attend it and another $350 for the flight to California. I payed that to watch theese stupid idiots say how great ACN is and all this crap. I worked my butt off in having meetings in my house and I didnt get not 1 cent back. Another thing is they were always talking about deregulating energy and gas and that was over a year and a half ago and it still hasnt happened, what a bunch of BS. To all who are reading this post believe me it is a waist of time and money please listen to me i dont want the same to happen to you. I even went as far as creating my own site and posting it on google and they banned me from ACN for no reason, all i was doing was giving my info so people can get in contact with me so i can grow my "business" and they just kicked me out. I was just trying to make money the way they promissed me but guess what the only people that made money were the head honchos they STOLE MY $500 and I wish I would of never done that. I could of easily spent that money on my 4 year old daughter instead i donated it to those scumbags. ITS A WAIST OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT LOOK INTO ACN !!!!!!!!! Hmmm, all 300 ACN reps must have been losers who were not willing to 'follow the system' according to Chad's logic. Maybe they were not coachable. Maybe they all lived in their mom's basement and were not willing to venture outdoors. What do you think the chances are that every single ACN rep in Montana lost an average of $773 on their $500 INVESTMENT? Even according to the bleakest ACN statistics 1% of them would have made untold riches. Don't you think that at least 3 of them would have succeeded? Where did the $243,800 that they invested end up??? I mean everyone knows you don't make a dime from recruiting fees according to Chad. What a mystery!!!! Where did all those recruiting fees go Chad? And trust me when I tell you I never joined ACN. I did, unfortunately, get suckered into going to one of those shitty presentations.
